In short

This app collects, stores and transmits no personal data. It has no access to the internet.

This website is a different matter, and it should be said plainly: it can count visits with Google Analytics — only if you allow it, and you can withdraw at any time.

In detail

No data transmission. The app contains no networking.

No analytics, no advertising. No analytics tools, ad networks or crash reporting are built in.

Access to your music. On iOS the app only reads files you hand it yourself.

What is stored on the device. Locally only, in the app's private folder:

All of it is removed completely when you uninstall the app.

Other permissions. Vibration, keeping the screen awake, and — on Android only — switching Do Not Disturb.

Children. The app is suitable for all ages and collects data from nobody.

This website

These pages are hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA).

Web analytics (Google Analytics)

Only after you allow it. Until you press Allow in the bar at the bottom, nothing of it runs.

What is processed once allowed. Pages, time, origin, approximate location from an abbreviated IP address, device and browser.

Legal basis. Your consent, withdrawable at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Transfer to the USA. The contract is with Google Ireland Limited; processing may take place at Google LLC in the United States.

How long. The cookies expire after at most two years, usage data after 14 months.

Android beta sign-up

The one place on these pages that sends anything. If you enter your address in the beta form, three things are stored: the address, which language the page was in, and the day of the sign-up.

What for. To send the confirmation mail and the Play Store link for the closed test.

Who sees it. The list lives in the hosting provider's storage and the dispatch runs through a mail service engaged as a processor.

How long. Unconfirmed addresses are deleted automatically after 28 days.

The counter. The start page asks this site's own endpoint how many testers have confirmed.

Your rights

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR).
